
Hello everyone and welcome to The Cultural Chef! My name is Matt Ensminger and I am based in Chicago, Illinois. I have a BS in Anthropology from Loyola University of Chicago and an Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from Kendall College. My goal is to discuss the cultural origins of different kinds of food as well as some broader issues pertaining to food and society. I encourage guest writers to collaborate with me and write blog posts of their own pertaining to food and culture.
